Peer-to-peer Learning

Young man

Software Languages are constantly improving and advancing as we move into Industry 4.0, immersive technology such as AI, virtual and augmented reality and as therefore languages have to adapt to create complex technologies which rely on new coding languages.

Therefore, what was best practice yesterday can soon become outmoded today and redundant tomorrow. Keeping in tune with the latest practices, techniques and technologies give coders the best chances of being in demand by company’s on the frontier of technology.

Whilst there are many basic principles and fundamentals which are required as basis to learn programming languages and therefore can be taught traditionally there are many technologies can be taught via peer-to-peer learning.

We provide a collaborative learning environment for students which is tiered so that new students are introduced to basic principles and fundamentals of coding. To begin with this is top down, though as students progress and begin to work on real-world projects, they are introduced to more peer-to-peer learning with newer students learning from senior software students which are both working alongside senior developers and supervisors.

This horizontal learning experience allows students to progress along a structured road map which is uniquely built to equip students at certain levels so they can reach a milestone and then

Strengthens communication skills and team management

It can often be daunting to newcomers especially those students entering the world-of-work for the first time.

Our focus on collaborative learning means senior students and coworkers will introduce themselves by teams meeting or face-to-face before they are due to begin their learning experience with Acris Academy to help them get to know the ropes and easy any concerns they may have.
